Bill Cosby admitted in a 2005 deposition that he obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women with whom he wanted to have sex. (Associated Press file)

Re: “Cosby said he got quaaludes to give women for sex,” July 7 news story.

If the whole thing weren’t so disgusting, the idea that Bill Cosby’s documents should have been kept closed so as not to “embarrass” him is ridiculously laughable. This man lied, cheated, committed disgraceful acts, all the while having the absolute gall to present himself as Mr. Nice Guy. To make matters even worse, he lectured the public on so many things, pretending to be upstanding, moral, etc. Talk about embarrassing — his family must be sickened and humiliated by all of this.

The fact that the statute of limitations has run out on most of these accusations is frustrating and unfortunate. This man should be thrown in prison for the rest of his life.
