Luxury brands and are coming to the Cherry Creek Shopping Center as part of a 90,000-square-foot redevelopment of the mall’s old Saks Fifth Avenue space.

For both Burch, a high-end women’s designer, and Yurman, a maker of fine jewelry and luxury timepieces, it will be their first stores in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Mall officials announced the new tenants Wednesday.

“We’re always looking to evolve our merchant mix and keep our merchant mix as relevant as possible,” said marketing director Dave Dixon. “These brands are all very complementary to the brands we already have in the shopping center.”

The redevelopment on East First Avenue, which will open in phases starting this summer, is anchored by Restoration Hardware’s new four-level 52,000-square-foot store — rebranded as RH Denver, The Gallery at Cherry Creek.

Saks, one of the mall’s original department-store anchors,

Along with Tory Burch and David Yurman, upscale seafood restaurant plans to open in the redeveloped wing.

Tiffany & Co. also will relocate into the new space, while home furnishing company Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams will move into the space currently occupied by Restoration Hardware.

The new stores will start opening in mid-August, with the goal of having as many as possible open for the holiday shopping season, Dixon said.

RH Gallery, with three interior levels and a rooftop deck, is planning a late October or early November opening, Dixon said.

The remodeled Kona Grill and California Pizza Kitchen should reopen by late July or early August.

Additional tenants will be announced as they are finalized, officials said.

“Cherry Creek’s lineup of premium retailers and restaurants will become even more distinctive this fall,” said general manager Nick LeMasters.
