Envysion_appLouisville video-tech company will move its headquarters a mile away to Superior next month because it needs more room. The company, which employs 106 people, plans to in the next three months.

Envysion provides a cloud-based video surveillance service for retailers, restaurants, movie theaters and . Its system connects existing cameras to the Internet to be accessed and managed online. The company recently acquired , a Vancouver firm that built a way to take data out of video. Customers include Chipotle, Noodles and Verizon Wireless.

The new Superior facility at 100 Superior Plaza Way is 21,000 square feet, or 40 percent larger than its existing headquarters.

Christian Ellis

Envysion also hired Christian Ellis as its vice president of engineering. Ellis previously worked at Global Healthcare Exchange and GHX Europe GmbH. He is also , a volunteer group of local developers working with the city to build software for the Boulder area.
