1 Motorist confronted by woman in bikini. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded July 4 to the 9000 block of Eagle Cliff Road, Aspen Park, on a report that a woman in a bikini stepped out into the road, forcing the reporting party to stop his vehicle. The reporting party said the woman yelled obscenities, claiming he was driving too fast. The woman was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and walking into the path of a vehicle.

2 Drunken husband takes truck. A woman reported July 4 that her husband tried to strangle her while she was driving, then drove off in their truck after she pulled over and exited the vehicle in the 4000 block of Jefferson County 73, Evergreen. She said he became angry when she complained about his drunkenness. The husband was found further down the road a short time later in the truck, which he had wrecked. He was charged with driving under the influence.

3 Truck hit with yogurt. A resident of the 30000 block of Hilltop Road, Evergreen, reported June 27 that she heard people laughing and tires squealing outside her home, then walked outside to find that her truck had been hit with a container of yogurt. The case is open pending leads.

4 Not-lost dog taken from yard. A resident of the 20000 block of Shadow Mountain Drive, Conifer, reported July 1 that she watched a female driver let the resident’s dog — which was in its yard — into her vehicle then drive away. The dog was later brought to Aspen Park Animal Hospital by an elderly man, reporting the dog as lost. Deputies then returned the dog to its home.
