Nathaniel Rateliff needs a drink.
And in the new video for “S.O.B.,” , he’s preaching “gimmie a drink” to a cafeteria of inmates.
It’s a slick video, done closing credits-style and introduces each member of his band — even Ben O’Donnell as Big Red and Scotty Broome as ‘The Other Guy.’
But you might be wondering why Conan is premiering a video. Well, it’s because the band will be playing the late night show on Sept. 15.
The band’s self-titled debut full length is due out this summer on Stax Records. It includes production from the Shins’ Richard Swift, who also worked on the
“I never did this stuff before, because it never really came to me,” Rateliff told us “It just so happened that it came together for me. You have to be open to whatever comes to you.”
