The new “Attack on Titan” live-action trailer is out, and it looks it looks insane.
The movie, based off the popular manga of the same name, is about how humanity has walled itself off in order to survive a plague of titans — giant mindless beings that feed on humans. For more than 100 years, humans have lived encapsulated in cities surrounded by these giant walls. Then one day a 200-foot-tall titan shows up and kicks a big hole in one of the walls, allowing the smaller titans to feast on the citizens inside.
IGN released the trailer with English subtitles on Thursday. :
“Attack on Titan” will be split into two parts. The first will be released in Japan on Aug. 1 and then “Attack on Titan: End of the World” will is slated for Sept. 19.
