It didn’t take long for Denver’s Neil Magny to bounce back from his loss at UFC 190.
Just 22 days since losing to Demian Maia, the welterweight Magny won a split decision over Erick Silva Sunday at UFC Fight Night in Saskatoon, Canada.
Magny accepted the match two weeks ago as an injury replacement for Rick Story.
“It feels pretty good for a four-day camp,” Magny said in an in-ring interview after the match.
Magny (16-4) has won eight of his last nine fights — all of which have taken place within the last 18 months.
