Aurora Mayor Steve Hogan will be running unopposed in November as he
The city of Aurora on Thursday certified petitions for the City Council and mayor elections.
Hogan will not have a challenger on the ballot.
In Ward 4, former Aurora City Attorney Charlie Richardson is running against Joe Lewis and Arnie Schultz. The Ward 5 race pits incumbent Bob Roth against Livia Payne. Candidate Cheri McElhiney is also running but needs to secure more signatures; she has until Sept. 2 to do so.
The Ward 6 race features Brian Arnold, Francoise Michelle Bergan and PK Kaiser. Two at-large seats are also up for grabs. Incumbents Debi Hunter Holen and Bob LeGare are seeking re-election. Angela Lawson and Maya Wheeler are also vying for at-large positions on the City Council.
