A teenager no longer, Nathan MacKinnon — who turned 20 on Sept. 1 — is donning a beard and new haircut — tight on the sides. The 2014 Calder Trophy winner said he’s gained 10 pounds, up to 210, and is about a 1/4-inch taller. Last season he was listed at 6-0, 195. This year’s weigh-ins are Thursday:

MacKinnon and a handful of others who did not play in April’s season finale — Erik Johnson, Jesse Winchester, Patrick Bordeleau, Borna Rendulic, among others — are good to go, Avs coach Patrick Roy said. .
