A woman walking a trail in Douglas County Wednesday afternoon was grabbed by a man, according to the sheriff’s office.

The woman yelled and the man walked away, according to a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office media release.

The incident happened about 2:25 p.m. on the Diamond K trail near Venneford Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch. Deputies searched the area for the man but he was not found.

Investigators said the man grabbed the woman by the arms.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late teens or early 20’s, about 6-feet tall and about 150 pounds. He has a medium build, with brown, bushy hair with bangs that hang to his eyebrows, fair skin and freckles.

The suspect was wearing a light gray, short-sleeved t-shirt, with white words or a logo on it, and dark gray shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 303 660-7579.
