The Regional Transportation District is hosting eight public meetings in the next two weeks to present a proposed service plan for the A and R rail lines, two of five new transit corridors the agency will open in 2016.
The A Line to DIA and the R Line, which will traverse Aurora and Denver along stretches of Interstate 225, will debut in 2016.
The A Line should open next spring and the R Line is slated to open next winter. The two lines will intersect at Peoria Street in Aurora, providing passengers with a connection to the airport and access to several major hospital, research centers and other landmark facilities in the area.
