Denver police continue investigating on Friday morning, officials said.

While there remains no reports of missing children, Denver police spokeswoman Christine Downs said investigators are still looking into statements made by two elementary-aged children at Cesar Chavez Academy on Thursday who said that they saw, through a fence, a young Hispanic girl being taken by a man in a white van.

On Thursday, all children and staff at the academy and surrounding schools were accounted for.

Downs could not confirm whether police were still actively searching for a suspect or suspect vehicle.
