
1 Paper planes of apology unsuccessful. The owner of Cactus Jacks Saloon and Grill, 4651 Colorado 73, Evergreen, reported harassment from a former patron Sept. 21. She said the man was thrown out of the bar and told not to return, but days later, he stood on the sidewalk outside the business and threw paper planes, which contained written apologies, through the door. He also called and said things to employees that made them uncomfortable. He was contacted and advised to stop such actions.
2 Sign of aggression. A resident of the area of Cragmont Drive and Prairie Lane, Evergreen, reported Sept. 22 that a driver ran over a sign in her yard that advised slow speeds. She identified the driver’s car as one parked at a house down the street. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle, who admitted to running over the sign. He apologized, said he would not do it again, and was not charged.
3 Woman breaks sliding glass door, man arrested. A man was arrested Sept. 20 in the 20000 block of Colorado 74, Evergreen, after an argument with his girlfriend in which she was locked out of the house and he pointed a wooden stick at her in a threatening way. He called police when she broke through the pane of a sliding glass door while banging on it to get his attention.
4 Woman goes to police, gets arrested. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman for domestic violence after she went to the station, 4990 Colorado 73, Evergreen, and reported that she hit her husband in the back during an argument. Her husband refused to give his account of the incident.
