The Colorado State Patrol says a 26-year-old New Mexico woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle, San Luis Valley wreck.

Investigators believe alcohol or drugs possibly contributed to the crash.

Breanna Hastings, of Santa Fe, N.M., was heading north on Colorado 7 near the town of Mosca in Alamosa County when she drove off the road, rotated and rolled.

The State Patrol believes Hastings crashed after overcorrecting when her 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass veered onto the shoulder.

Authorities say Hastings was not restrained and became trapped in the Oldsmobile. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
