Getting your player ready...
Chadd Franek, a tight end at Bear Creek, has pledged to CSU-Pueblo football, the defending Division II national champion.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder gave a verbal commitment the past Saturday to ThunderWolves coach John Wristen.
Said Franek in an e-mail to The Denver Post: “I’m going to a great university, a nationally ranked program, to continue my education. Both my mom, sister, uncle, grandfather and father went there. My father played basketball there. Looking forward to the opportunity.”
Heading into the weekend, the Class 5A Bear Creek Bears were 3-3 overall, 2-2 in the Jefferson County League. Franek had six receptions for 41 yards.
