Around 3:30 p.m., West Metro Fire District tweeted out a thanks to all those who were involved in battling the four day blaze.
Fire crews have been working the fire near near C-470 and West Bowles Avenue since Wednesday when it sparked and burned 33 acres.
On contained, but authorities said the fire needed to reach 100 percent containment before firefighters eased up because a residential area was nearby.
Investigators said the fire was possibly caused by a passing car spark.
