A crash on southbound Interstate 225 in Aurora tied up traffic Wednesday morning.
The single vehicle rollover took place on southbound I-225 at E. Mississippi Avenue and snarled traffic in the area, police said.
The driver in the crash took off on foot, and police later discovered the vehicle was stolen, according to an Aurora police Facebook post.
A sergeant chased the suspect on foot until the suspect was taken into custody near E. Mississippi Avenue and Uvalda Street.
The suspect was taken to the hospital for injuries suffered from the crash, police said.
Officers were treated for injuries that happened during the arrest, the Facebook post said.
