For all you Shakey Graves fans in Denver, stay frosty: The folk troubadour just dropped a major hint that he’ll be playing a show in our neck of the woods on Saturday.

The artists dropped the not-so-subtle hint via today:

shakey graves

No word on where or when exactly Shakey Graves will be performing, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear word. (UPDATE: We think we figured it out. See below.) It’s worth noting that the last time Shakey Graves pulled one of these stunts in Denver back in 2014, it . So maybe leave some room and time for a burrito trip on Saturday.

Update: Our best guess here is (that’s the name of it, not us being snarky this time). The festival takes place on Saturday, August 27 from 4-10 p.m. at 1225 17th Street. They haven’t announced any of the acts yet, simply stating they’ll have “top local acts from rock and roll to bluegrass–and one big, bad headlining band that we know the people of Denver love.”

Shakey Graves likely isn’t the headliner, as “big, bad” doesn’t bear much relevance to anything in his canon. That probably means someone even bigger — could it be that the “big, bad” part is an allusion to Big Head Todd and the Monsters, or Big, Bad Voodoo Daddy, who’s set to play next Friday? We kind of hope not!

The festival is free, with discounted beer for sale on site. 100% of proceeds from the booze will go to Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to the children of war veterans.
