Denver’s high temperature be stay cool but dry Friday as the mountains get another round of snow.

“It could be snowing in the high country until noon,” said Bob Koopmeiners, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Another 3 to 4 inches of snow could fall above 10,000 feet in elevation, Koopmeiners said.

Denver will be partly cloudy Friday with temperatures climbing from a low of 30 degrees to 46 degrees, he said.

Metro residents can expect temperatures to rise to the low 50s on Saturday, and the low 60s on Sunday and Monday.

A new storm system is expected to arrive in the Denver area by Tuesday with a 30 percent chance of snow.

High temperatures will drop to the low 50s on Tuesday and the 40s on Wednesday, Koopmeiners said.
