The Colorado State Patrol will shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 at Plumcreek Parkway on Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the closure will last one hour.
Officials say the closure is linked to the investigation into the late Sunday of .
Authorities did not elaborate on why they need to close to interstate or what they will be looking for.
