Police in Parker have opened a police officer impersonation case.

The Parker Police Department announced Tuesday that a woman went to police on Nov. 19 looking for an incident report, in which she was involved, from either Aug. 30 or 31.

“The police department determined that there was no record of the incident involving the victim,” the release said.

The woman, however, reported the incident to someone “she believed was a Parker police officer,” according to the release.

Detectives are now investigating the possibility that someone “may have been impersonating a police officer.”
