In this sensitive footage from the Denver District Attorney’s Office, Christopher Booker, who critically injured a Denver police officer last December, is shown driving into the officer after having a medical condition behind the wheel.
Community corrections consists of an incarceration period followed by time spent in a halfway house that includes treatment and requirement to have a job during the day, said Deputy District Attorney Doug Jackson.
Booker also owes more than $663,000 in restitution that is intended to cover workers’ compensation and portions of medical costs for the four officers injured during the collision.
