
Denver’s economic development office is hosting three job fairs in the next week with dozens of local employers recruiting from across a variety of sectors.
The job fairs are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5; Tuesday, Dec. 8; and Thursday, Dec. 10. Organizers recommend that job-seekers create a profile on , dress accordingly, bring resumes and be prepared for interviews.
Below is information from the Denver Office of Economic Development about the fairs:
• Saturday, Dec. 5 — A “Cabinet in the Community”series job fair: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Byers Middle School, 150 S. Pearl St.
Participants include the city and county of Denver as well as Colorado Restaurant Association members.
• Tuesday, Dec. 8 — Montbello Community Job Fair: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Montbello Recreation Center, 1555 E. 53rd Ave.
Nearly 50 employers are expected to attend, including the National Western Stock Show, Denver Public Schools and King Soopers. Register at .
• Thursday, Dec. 10 — Denver Opportunity Fair: 9 a.m. to noon at the Westside Workforce Center, 1200 Federal Blvd.
This Denver’s Employment First Program event encompasses 25 recruiters that include Kelley Services/FedEx, the Transportation Security Administration and the Colorado Visiting Nurses Association. Register at .
