Ever since Broncos’ Von Miller was fined by the NFL for his homage to the Hingle McCringleberry skit from “Key and Peele,” the linebacker looks like he’s been trying to find a new celebration.
Midway through the first quarter in San Diego, Miller ran past Chargers tackle Chris Hairston and recorded his first sack of the game against quarterback Philip Rivers.
Then the magic happened.
Miller channeled his inner robot and pivoted back and forth in the middle of the field. It looks like a cross between C3PO’s and R2D2’s movements.
He sacked Rivers again late in the game, sparking some words between the two players. After the game, , “I don’t think he was happy with the cologne I was wearing. I was wearing a lot of it and I guess he wasn’t happy with it. I was on him a lot at the end of the game so everybody doesn’t like my smell.”
