BOULDER — When the e-mail arrived saying campus was closed, University of Colorado senior Sallie Sangiorgio’s roommate pounded on her door and the two of them jumped up and down with glee.
But for Sangiorgio, whose business final exam was canceled, CU’s decision to close campus also meant a bit of uncertainty about her grade in that class.
“I’m happy that I don’t have to go to campus,” she said. “But I’m nervous. I need to e-mail my professor to see exactly what that means in terms of my grade. I don’t know what my standing is.
“It’s not bad, but this final could’ve made it better.”
