Entercom Denver radio station KRWZ (950 AM) will be purchased by KSE Radio Ventures, a subsidiary of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, under an agreement announced Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.

Pending regulatory approval, the station will join KSE’s portfolio of stations, which KIMN (100.3 FM), KXKL (105.1 FM) and KWOF (92.5 FM) from Wilks Broadcasting.

By picking up the , radio insiders predict, KSE likely will begin to build a sports-centric platform along with the core assets it’s purchasing from Wilks.

KSE is the owner of the Pepsi Center, the Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Nuggets.

No format has been announced, but the oldies station is likely to give way to a sports talk format when KSE Media assumes management in the first quarter of 2016.
