has announced her ninth LP, the follow-up to 2011’s Mercury Prize winning, “Let England Shake,” will see release in 2016. The news comes via a 30-second teaser trailer, which you can watch below.
The clip, which features Harvey singing among old stone ruins, was filmed in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington, D.C.
Harvey’s new album was recorded during a month-long residency captured earlier this year at London’s Somerset House. The open-to-the-public “Recording In Progress” residency invited fans to come and go while Harvey recorded in a custom-built studio.
