This article shows once more President Obama’s total arrogance in ignoring the normal and correct way that American law creation was and is designed to be. The presidentap role is not to make new laws, especially if they fly in the face of constitutional rights — in this case, the Second Amendment. This is not deliberately ignoring something minor.
Americans have never elected, nor wanted, a king, even if Obama thinks that is the role of being president. And hopefully in his waning time in office, Americans will let Obama and his arrogant team know how strongly they disapprove of people who ignore the presidentap proper role.

This letter was published in the Jan. 6 edition.Reading this article, two observations come to mind.
First, that the “Republican presidential candidates were notably silent about Obama’s announcement”; and second, the response from apparent super tough guy and Republican governor of Texas Greg Abbott: “Obama wants to impose more gun control. My response? COME & TAKE IT.”
So, the next time Texas experiences a natural disaster, or a man-made one, will Abbott expect Obama to remain silent, or respond as he did?
