1 Hard to hide. A suspicious, nearly 7-foot-tall man was skulking between mobile homes in the 9800 block of North Federal Boulevard, Federal Heights, on Dec. 8. When police easily located him, he pulled out a bottle of vodka he couldn’t conceal in his coat and drank the entire thing in front of them. He was arrested.

2 Jumping on cars. Police responded to Platinum 84, 8485 Umatilla St., Federal Heights, on Dec. 7 because a guest there went into the parking lot and started jumping on top of random cars, from hood to hood. He tried to drive away, but was pulled over and arrested.

3 Dog bites dog. A man was walking his Labrador to his mailbox in the 5400 block of 100th Way, Thornton, when his neighbor’s brindle mixed-breed wiggled through a hole in the backyard fence and bit the victim’s dog on the back Dec. 14. The owner was ticketed for the fence.

4 Missing X-ray censor. An employee at Adventure Dental, 1401 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights, was taken into custody Dec. 9. The employee was accused of stealing a $7,500 X-ray machine censor from the office by four of her coworkers, but she was arrested for another outstanding warrant during the investigation.

5 Texts from nowhere. A woman who lives in the 9700 block of Joliet Circle, Commerce City, called police to her home Dec. 21 because she was receiving threatening text messages. Police called the numbers, which were disconnected.

6 Stolen air compressor. The manager of Q3 Contracting, 5300 Colorado Blvd., Commerce City, reported that a $14,000 air compressor was stolen Dec. 23. There are no suspects.
