A man who in 2014 was convicted Wednesday of 32 felony counts for a he committed over the 10 days he was on the loose.

Travis Sandlin stole several vehicles across the Front Range, broke into a number of garages and homes and stole laptops, credit cards and other items during his rampage.

Pam Russel, spokeswoman for the county district attorneys office, said a jury came back with their verdict on Tuesday night after deliberating for more than a day. Sandlin’s trial began Jan. 4.

The 34-year-old was indicted in February 2015 of 35 counts in the case.

Russell said Sandlin’s crimes spanned six law enforcement jurisdictions.

Sandlin became the first person to ever escape from the jail when on Oct. 5, 2014, he broke through a small gap in wire fencing encasing an outdoor recreation area and jumped down several roofs.

He was finally arrested after ramming an armored SWAT vehicle with a stolen van.

Sandlin had a long criminal history dating back 15 years at the time of his escape that included convictions for burglary, car theft and fraud.

The escape led to county commissioners $100,000 to repair and enhance the security meshing system for the jail’s five recreation yards.

Sandlin is set to be sentenced March 14.
