El Paso County authorities said Tuesday they have arrested three people accused in a pattern of home break-ins that has led to the theft of several hundred thousand dollars of property.
Colorado Springs police say more arrests are expected and that their joint investigation with the county sheriff’s office is ongoing.
The three being held in the case were identified as 18-year-old Monique Rael, 22-year-old Katrina Abeyta and 22-year-old Nathaniel Gonzales.
The trio were arrested after six search warrants were served, leading to the recovery of about $15,000 in stolen property, police said.
Authorities say the ring has been targeting jewelry, televisions and firearms.
Gino Rael, 22, is wanted in the case and remains at large. Colorado Springs police spokeswoman Lt. Catherine Buckley said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police did not provide a timeline for the burglaries or when the search warrants were served.
