Yesterday, that the Stooges’ Iggy Pop and Eagles of Death Metal’s Josh Homme had collaborated on an album of original songs called “Post Pop Depression,” out March 18.
Last night, the rock frontmen shared the first single off of the album on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It’s called “Gardenia,” and seems to be melodically composed of notes that are all just below Iggy Pop’s register. The Late Show is a big stage for your band’s first gig, so maybe they’re just working out the kinks.
