The forecast for Denver calls for clear skies, light winds and warm temperatures through Friday.
Temperatures are expected to climb into the 40s Tuesday and by Friday it could be 60 degrees in the Denver metro area, said Lisa Kriederman, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder.
“Basically, it will be warmer than average through the week,” Kriederman said.
It will also be sunny in the mountains.
The next chance for snow in the mountains is Friday. Denver could see snow flurries Saturday evening.
Because temperatures are expected to climb to the upper 50s on Saturday, the Denver area could get rain before it starts to snow, Kriederman said.
