1 Trashed apartment. The property manager of an apartment complex at 301 Malley Drive, Northglenn, called police Jan. 15 because she saw 15 teenagers inside a vacant unit. The suspects were gone when police arrived, but they had broken windows and used black and red markers to write profanities all over the walls and kitchen appliances.
2 Vague accusations. Police were called to the 11200 block of Grant Drive, Northglenn, by a woman who said that an acquaintance of hers pulled out a shotgun and threatened her and her friends Jan. 18. None of the victims would say who the person is or what happened, so police left.
3 Parking lot prowler. A man called police Dec. 21 after he watched a suspicious man with a large sack trying to open the doors of cars parked in the 1800 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights. Police caught the suspect and found syringes in his pockets. He was arrested.
4 Nothing to see. Police were called to the Travel Centers of America at 5101 Quebec St., Commerce City, because a man said he saw two men fighting in the parking lot Jan. 22, and one of them pulled out a gun and shot it. There was no evidence.
5 Feuding friends. A woman called police to her home in the 11800 block of North Washington Street, Northglenn, because she said an ex-friend of hers keyed her car and sent her threatening text messages Jan. 20. The suspect denied it.
6 Stolen car. A man’s car was stolen from his home in the 9800 block of Hannibal Court, Commerce City, on Jan. 20. The car was locked, and there are no suspects.
