Monarch in Louisville has hired Jennifer Dixon as head volleyball coach, according to athletic director Russ McKinstry.
Dixon has six years experience heading a prep team among 14 teaching the game. She was head coach at Boulder for four years and two at Glenbard West near Chicago.
A former player at St. Clair County Community College, Dixon won a national championship with the team and earned All-America first team.
She later graduated from Central Michigan and currently teaches physical education at Monarch.
Last season, Monarch was 8-15 competing in the Class 5A Front Range League.
