
1 Disagreeable guest. A man living in the 100 block of West Powers Avenue, Littleton, called police Feb. 13 to say he had a rude house guest who wouldn’t leave. The resident said he had yelled “I’m being kidnapped” in the hall earlier, but that was a lie. Still, the man staying with him would not leave when told to and was arrested.
2 Right place, wrong mental state. Two men were seen sleeping in a car in front of a house in the 6100 block of Fairfield Street, Littleton, on Feb. 3. One tried to get inside. Officers arrived. It was later determined the men were permitted to be at the house to perform work there, but one of them was arrested for being high on meth.
3 Cops after creepy caller. Police are seeking a man who visited Smoky Hill Library,5340 S. Biscay Circle, Centennial, on Feb. 22, and used a phone to leave a threatening message at a government office.
4 Car full of trouble. Multiple drivers on Jan. 31 saw a blue SUV swerving into oncoming traffic and onto the curb. One witness saw the driver and passenger switch places. Police caught the vehicle in the 3000 block of West Bowles Avenue, Littleton. The new driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The passenger admitted to driving earlier and was arrested for DUI.
5 Unwanted note. A woman living in the 6900 block of South Bannock Street, Littleton, called police on Jan. 28 because she said her husband had been there in violation of a protection order. She heard a knock at the door and found an unsigned note taped to it. It was in his handwriting and used his nickname for her.
