1 Daughter pulls knife on mother. A woman was concerned about her adult daughter, who is addicted to drugs and lives with the woman’s disabled ex-husband in the 13600 block of Dakota Place. The woman went to check on the pair Feb. 15, but the daughter wasn’t home. She went to sleep in her daughter’s bedroom and waited for her to return. The next morning, the daughter came home and threatened the mother with a kitchen knife before taking the father’s car and cellphone and disappearing. The father wouldn’t give police information on the daughter’s whereabouts because he said she sometimes bought groceries for him. He said he didn’t want to evict her either, so police left him alone.

2 Car wash conspiracy. After employees at the Red Carpet Hand Car Wash, 1090 S. Havana St., finished cleaning a customer’s car Feb. 13, the customer accused them of damaging his bumper. Police noticed that the bumper had been unclipped, and only needed to be pushed back in.

3 Stolen jewelry. Police were called to the 200 block of South Jasper Circle because a woman realized that someone broke in to her home and stole two watches and diamond earrings Jan. 15. The woman suspects that it was a former resident of the unit because she didn’t change the locks when she moved in and there were no signs of forced entry.

4 Robbed car. A man called police to his home in the 500 block of South Kalispell Way because someone broke the passenger window of his parked car and stole his wallet Feb. 15.
