Disguised burglars, one sporting a monkey mask, who were caught on video, Wheat Ridge police said Saturday.

Wheat Ridge police were alerted around 3:19 a.m. Friday that two suspects wearing hoodies and masks broke the glass at Best Colorado Meds at 4800 Lamar Street and entered the building, according to a Wheat Ridge Police Department news release.

An employee was inside the business at the time, and the suspects fled, police said.

Police then received an alarm call about an hour later from Options Medical Center at 9805 W. 44th Avenue. Surveillance video shows the suspects — one with a monkey mask and the other with a bandana and hood — break the glass door, enter and take various items.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the Wheat Ridge Police Department at 303-237-2220.
