A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Friday night in Denver.
The accident happened at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Yosemite Street, according to a 9:31 p.m. Denver Police Department Twitter post.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries. The driver remained at the scene of the accident, police said.
Westbound lanes of Colfax were closed by the accident, which is being investigated by police.
