Winter Park Resort’s iconic Mary Jane area will stay open until May 7 — 13 days later than planned — thanks in part to the massive snowfall from this week’s storms.
Lifts and trails on the Winter Park side of the ski area will close April 24 as originally scheduled.
“Exact available lifts and terrain will be released closer to the extension,” the resort said in a Friday news release. “This will be the latest Mary Jane has stayed open since 1998, when she stayed open until May 25.”
Winter Park has seen more than 5 feet of snow in March and has a 90-inch base, the resort said.
