PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A judge has ruled there is enough evidence to try a Pueblo man accused of killing his grandmother and burning her body.
District Judge Thomas Flesher ruled after a preliminary hearing that ended Thursday that 29-year-old Anthony Sena should stand trial for murder, arson and theft in the death of 77-year-old Susan Hernandez.
Hernandez was found in her home last summer with blunt-force trauma to the head after emergency crews responded to a report of a fire.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports (http://goo.gl/ug81SY) eight people, including first responders, fire investigators and a cellphone data specialist from the FBI, testified during the preliminary hearing.
Jail documents do not list an attorney for Sena.
