The 16-year-old girl was a junior at Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs, officials say.

Authorities say Denver Wolf was on a spring break trip across Colorado with her father, 52-year-old Robert Wolf, when Sunday he fatally shot in her the chest in Park County on Sunday.
From there, officials say Robert Wolf drove his Subaru to an area west of Fort Collins where he shot himself twice in the chest.
“He placed the pistol on the dashboard on top of a pile of suicide letters,” Deputy Larimer County Coroner Investigator Greg Fairman said, adding that Robert Wolf died slowly.
Fairman said Robert Wolf was struggling with his divorce and that he had struggled with mental illness and alcoholism.
The coroner’s office said Robert Wolf lived in Lakewood.
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the father and daughter Monday morning after the Colorado Springs Police Department asked for help in finding the pair.
