A 24-year-old man is dead after falling about 40 feet Sunday night while hiking or climbing in a popular Colorado Springs park.
Colorado Springs police say the man was in North Cheyenne Cañon Park near Tunnel 1 or Tunnel 2 on Gold Camp Road when he fell.
Authorities said the man had serious trauma to his head and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man’s name was not released.
