Two Colorado teams are listed in the latest USA Today/National Soccer Coaches of America’s girls soccer poll.

Jefferson County’s Columbine is listed at No. 4 and Aurora’s Grandview joined the top-20 listing by moving up to No. 16.

Columbine is 5-0-1 with the tie coming against Fort Collins’ Rocky Mountain. The Rebels will be in action on Friday at home against Colorado Springs’ Liberty in nonleague. They have outscored opponents by an aggregate 30-3.

For the Wolves, who needed late heroics on Thursday night to edge rival Cherry Creek 3-2 in overtime in a Centennial League match, they are 4-0-1. They next get Eaglecrest, another league rival, at Legacy Stadium in Aurora on Saturday. Grandview has enjoyed a more modest 15-4 scoring advantage.

Both teams are in Colorado’s Class 5A.

The top team in the weekly national poll is New Trier High of Winnetka, Ill., which began the week 5-0.

No. 2 is McIntosh, in Peachtree City, Ga., which already had played 13 matches. It is 12-1.
