Marijuana regulators on Thursday issued recalls of medical and retail marijuana grown and sold by a shop in Pagosa Springs and one in Fort Collins over concerns they used unapproved pesticides in its cultivation.

The Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division s public health and safety advisories are the latest in a long line of cannabis recalls stretching back to in November to prevent tainted cannabis from being sold.

The recalled pot was grown by J and J Enterprises, which operates Pagosa Organic Therapeutics, a medical marijuana dispensary in Pagosa Springs. The recall impacts pot it grew and sold on various dates in February and March 2016.

The other recall, of pot grown and sold by Flower Power Botanicals in Fort Collins, affects dozens of harvests done since November 2015, according to the department s announcement.

The advisories are the state s 18th and 19th cannabis recalls in less than seven weeks.

The recalled products — labels will show the facility s license numbers — should be returned to the place of purchase for proper disposal, authorities said.
