Denver has long been regarded as a welcoming destination for dogs, and now a survey has statistically confirmed the city’s standing, ranking it third among 100 major cities nationwide
SmartAsset, a financial technology company based in New York, created an index based on factors such as dog parks per 100,000 residents, dog-friendly restaurants and shopping centers, walkability, weather and housing costs.
After weighting those factors, the survey calculated the index and pronounced San Francisco the most dog-friendly city with a score of 100, followed by Las Vegas (94.20) and Denver (90.67).
