Fountain police found a man suffering a gunshot wound in a street when they responded to a reported disturbance early Sunday.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Ancestra Drive, at about 4:30 a.m.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released.
“There are no outstanding suspects at this time and there is no danger to the community,” police said in the release.
The investigation is ongoing.
