The Red Cross is continuing to house residents displaced by last week’s fire at their 130-unit senior apartment building, and the agency is moving them to a new location where services might be needed at least several more days.

The shelter, which is also the resource center for evacuees looking for information, will now be at the Life Center at 5804 S. Datura St.

The fire started before noon April 6 at the Southview Place Tower in Littleton.

The Red Cross initially provided overnight shelter for 23 seniors but registered at least 67 people who were displaced.
