Re: Colorado should take Guantanamo inmates, April 10 guest commentary.
I want to echo what Katherine Kelaidis wrote about Colorado taking in the inmates from Guantanamo. The United States likes to talk the talk, but we don t like to walk the walk. We want to tell the rest of the world that we are the strongest, toughest country, but we are afraid of housing terrorists in our prisons. That we are afraid of keeping terrorists within our borders is laughable. Housing these terrorists outside of our borders keeps them hidden from the American public, and is a poor way of showing that we are the leader to the rest of the world.
