Re: Denver planners ignoring residents, April 10 guest commentary.

I am so happy that Tom Morris is still involved in neighborhood issues. Morris has a long, long memory and continues to remind Denver citizens about the missteps and lack of respect that can be involved in working with Denver agencies, particularly Parks and Recreation. I have lived in the City Park neighborhood for 26 years, and when I moved in, the city was trying to move offices into the City Park Pavilion. Neighborhoods surrounding the park discovered the plan and stopped it. Morris recounts other incidents culminating in the current outcry over re-purposing the western end of City Park Golf Course for a flood plan. Thank you, Tom, for your memory and dedication to Denver.
